Although many of us only associate Elves with Santa and Christmas, in fact they are popular year round. We usually think "Christmas Elf," the little dudes and dudettes who hang out with Santa in the North Pole and make toys. In fact Elves have only been associated with Santa and Christmas since the 19th century although they existed long before and originated in pagan stories from Northern Europe. However they have always been cute, festive, and fun, despite their mythical status! We are going to look at some child Elf costumes, and Elf costumes are perfect for kids as they are about the same size!

This Velvet Elf Costume is fabulous! What's a Velvet Elf you might ask? Well, Santa's helpers have never looked better so who really cares :)
